It looks like I might have a chance this coming year to guide for antelope in California "wherever I want."
<

Thing is, I've never guided or hunted California. This didn't seem to matter in Oregon as my Dad and I guided there for the first time last year and assisted our hunter in taking a buck over 90-inches!

So, having never guided in California I'm researching and trying to gain as much info as possible about where the biggest bucks are in California and where I should concentrate my efforts. I know a lot of folks on this forum have hunted and are very familiar with the California antelope situation and that's why I'm asking here.

If anyone has any information they'd like to share, I'd appreciate your help. Thanks a bunch.

Likely Tables zone seems to get the most apps from what I've seen Eli. I've never been up there so I can't give you any advice on where the bigger bucks are.

Some of the members here have and some live up there so I'm sure they can point you to the best zones.

That'll be a long long drive from AZ. It's 5 hours from Phoenix to here and another 13 to Redding from here. Then add another 5 to the NE corner and whew.
