California Game & Fish

I got a solicitation for a mag called "California Game & Fish". Anyone know anything about it? Is it worth a subscription (special offer $12/year)?

I have a subscription and I like it. For one thing it is all about hunting and fishing in California and you don't have to wade through a bunch of whitetail articles to get to something you will be hunting.

I subscribe. I like it for the same reason Wildbio stated. All California stuff. Except my dog got to this months issue before I did.

Note to self: "Don't leave magazines in reach of bored pooch"

I get it too. Entertaining read especially when you know you won't have time to hunt or fish in the next several months. Not a bad price either I think I paid a tad more.

I get the mag also, I do like it allthough it is a little on the skinny side. But like the others have said it's all cali. The price is right and they have articles that you won't see in OL or F&S. Another good one in WESTERN OUTDOORS NEWS, it's a weekly paper, comes in the mail on thursday and costs about $35.00 a year.

Just pray that your public hunting spot or your fishing hole doesn't get published. That magazine tends to hype up a lot of public land, and soon enough, your hunting spot is over run with hunters because the week before, it was published in that magazine.
