So where did we end up on the Video topic?

I'm going to bring my MiniVhs just to try and show my family and friends how cool hog hunting is.

Anyone bringin a digi so we can do it right?

I'll play cameraman for anyone that will do the same for me.

Cool deal

I'm looking for a 'certain' type of hog so if I'll be more than happy to film or help guide you and the others for your first one.

But if I see a hog with the 'IT' factor I'll have to ummmmm ya know
<

But in all truthfullness, I have no problem filming for you guys. I'll probly try and pop a meat hog right out of the gate then start being choosy.

I don't have much for the grill right now since my freezer is empty but I can either pick something up (steaks etc) or I can do somehting like grab, coffee, milk, bacon and eggs for all.

What we usually do is group dinners and everyone takes care of their own breakfasts and lunches. That said, I am open to whatever. Just no need for each person to bring milk and then we have too much of one thing.

How hardcore of a group of coffee drinkers to we have going? I can bring a couple of pounds of Pete's coffee too.

Got it! Thanks...

I will bring enough elk for one night...steak and burger. I was thinking like 5 steaks and a couple pounds of burger for the potluck.

We only can have 4 members on a team. I guess that means the first 4 to recover hogs make the team

Well, at least we ony 5 we'll have lots of space in the field and the sleeping accomodations!

Who on this trip has never been to Choppers? What I did last time was drive some folks around after we got there in the dark to at least get the lay of the land and where some hogs are often seen. It works good for me too since we usually see some hogs in the dark and it's good recon. We can do that again at 9pm on Thursday for anyone interested.

I will make it up there on Thursday night...we were talking about showing up at around 2000 hrs, right? Scouting that night sounds like a great idea...Are we able to drive our rigs/ATV on the ranch or does Chopper drop you off in a area?
I am bring a two-way radio...do most of you guys use em up there?

I am stoked, this ranch sounds like it is a great place to hunt!

Bring your radio...the ranch is big & more than one person has gotten lost there, plus-when a tracking job is needed, chop is only a radio call away and can bring the reinforcements as well as refreshments.
You'll have access to the ranch & will be able to drive yourself.....just stay on the roads & use 4wd. Chopper will tell you places you should and should not be.

You guys will have fun........my only advice, don't shoot'em in the @$$ or shoulder.
