FT...this defacing of our logo has to stop? Why are some so full of negative energy? I just hope they find the time to re-channel all of this fustration into their BOWHUNTING SKILLS and just leave our superior logo alone. It is sad, and might I ad, scary, to see "tusker" with pink tusks.

BTW, GO TUSKERS!!!

almost forgot

Went shooting with my boyer buddy today and got up on a group of about 15 turkeys.

Just crept in close(10 yards) and picked on to focus on.

They were on the move and not even paying attention my way.

THe opener is on Sat! I hope to get that close again. Bird will be going DOWN!

Also got close to a Yote (20ish yards) but he busted me when I went to draw on him.

I just hope we get a chance to challenge the winner of the Judo/CA hunt. I wanna

Well, I'll tell you what, I'll take a little good natured ribbing by pigig and AS any day of the week. Those boys are both hardcore hunters, great guys AND know choppers like the back of their hands, if not better. If they say a spot is good, trust that!!! Maps are great but on the ground recon is always the best. Now as to their obvious obsessions with each other, I am not going to speak to that

A little drive around the property at 9pm is definitely gonna happen!!

See you boys in 4 days!

I know its all in fun and thats what makes it cool. I dont think any of us have a lack of respect for the other. We may not always show it be its there.

This is two of my Favorite things in one. Hunting and talkin trash.

Looks like we are going to get a little weather before the trip, gotta love that. Fresh tracks are the best tracks.

on a side note.

So when AS said "go to this spot and take 6 steps to the right then hop on one leg and bark like a dog and the pigs will come running" he wasn't just pullin my chain?

Dude, weather would be great just before the trip...but pray for no rain on our hunt...my experince had taught me that the pigs will be bedded in the rain, if it is pouring. Once again, this was renforced last week at Lake Sonoma. The extended weather forcast looks good, however

Let's put some swine on the ground!

Not to hijack a thread but hey AS,

Looks like we have something in common. Notice the blood on my leg in the pic below????? Yup, self-inflicted.

To All,

Kentuck and myself are now accepting pledges into the "Southern Stabbers" fraternity.....must be southern & have a scar from a self inflicted knife wound, we will however accept chainsaw scares as a substitute.....just cause that'd be fun to see. Please send your applications to either member for consideration.

Kind Regards,

Arrowslinger.

Does box cutter scar count?

Most of my self-inflicted knife wounds are on my hands and fingers...where they belong. Don't know what to say about folks who jab their skinners into their legs.

Spec, being from North Carolina and a verified "redneck", you are most welcome to join this elite fraternity of killers & stabbers...but, we must first view a picture (jpg preferably) of a scar...boxcutters are elligiable, only slightly ahead of paper cuts, but big knives, machettes, and chainsaws are really what we're lookin for.
Send the pic & you're in....we'll have quarterly meeting where each will share his/her (women preferred) survival story to the group.

I have Family in MO and I got a really really bad paper cut once, is that good enough?
<

Ok,Ok I cut the cr@p out of my leg shapening my knife, cool scar but I felt like a dumbazz for a LONNNNNNG time.

Was shapening it at my parents house and my dad started asking me questions, as I looked up to answer him the tip of the knife went right through my pants. DOH.

I freaked and he laughed at me when it was all over.

"Mr. Big Bad Hunter almost fainted" he said.

Now for the big question, why did I just let that cat out of the bag
<

Oh yeah, I cut my leg another way once but only Kirk would understand
