Congrats on the successful hunt and the great write up. Sounds like you put some miles in on that hunt.

She'll taste all the better because of it.[/b]

That I did, not as many as the March hunt. And I agree she will taste a little better because of the work. Funny thing is did all that walking and shot a pig right by the cabin.

You have been looking foward to this hunt. I am glad things went well for you, and you were successful. Can't go wrong with grain fields! Good job.

Nicely done. Congrat to all you guys. Great pictorial.

Don't you hate it when you show up and the locals are wearing snake boots, and you ain't got any. I need to get me some.

But the real question is why are they wearing snake boots? For the snakes or the Foxtails! I did not get one foxtail but I wear ankle socks with my boots to avoid that situation. As for the snakes... well I sure hope they got enough rope to drag me out of the canyon! HAHAHA

Nope Remington. The green and yellow box, nothing special.

Cant beat them remington Core-locs. They've taken more game in my familys rifles than any other bullet.
Congrates on an awesome hunt!

I must have left that out, I was only about 35 yards away, only way I could pull a spine shot!

When I dropped the hog off at the locker, the Butcher told me that was the fattest wild hog he had ever seen, going to be some good eating boys!

Cold1:

congrats on a sucessful hunt...great story and pics too. I also had the pleasure of trying to keep up with "billy goat" on my hunt...definitely worth the effort though. Enjoy the eats on that pig.

I have been hunting with that kid for a few years and only once have I ever sen him even take a deep breath and I don't think I have ever seen him break a sweat. One thing about it, both Randy and Jay know where the hogs are. Can't wait to get back up there in about 5 weeks. Boy is that going to be some nice hot weather. But the big tuskers should be out.
