Has anyone had any experience with this company? I am looking to do a 3/4 day offshore trip with them. Thanks for any input good or bad!

My advice is to wait until the fish show up an then try not to go on the weekend or holiday. Other than that remember the deck hands get paid minimum wage and always appreciate a tip. I always give the tip to the skipper along with some words of praise. NOTE: If the crew stands around twiddling their thumbs or fishes all day or otherwise isn't doing a good job I will still talk with the skipper and let him know the crew failed him. If the skipper put us on the fish I'll still tip him.

That's what I do and believe me the crews will take good care of you on your next trip even better tan first one.

For this trip we will be going mid-April on a Friday whether the fish are on or not due to aligning the rest of the parties work schedules. I understand the boat has a good chance to be packed (with people), In your experience do they go overboard with cramming as many people onboard as they can? Or will there be a little elbow room? Yelp reviews are pretty much horrible but I expect that from that site.

So we headed out to Catalina yesterday and had a great time. The wife caught all the fish in our group, various rockfish, opaleye, etc. Bro-in-law caught a clam......
The boat was clean and well stocked, the captain worked well at getting us on fish, and the crew was friendly and helpful. Boat was full of fellow fisherman and lines were crossed but it wasn't as chaotic as I would have believed from some reviews Ive read. I'd use them again.

yea I use them all the time. The lines get really crossed when you get a lot of the people who just dont care and dont listen to the deck hands. If you listen to the deck hands you should be fine. I was gonna go but I ended up having to go to work
