Glad our taxpayer dollars are being spent so wisely....Lord knows we can't have hunters out there chasing cats and paying for the privilege. I hate this state.

"Mountain Lion bites are rare...." With all but two occurring since Mountain Lion hunting was outlawed! lol Sounds like its gonna be a good idea to get rid of hunting dogs for bear and bobcat, so when this happens there is definitely no hope of finding the lion....

Laws don't apply to DFG just us. When the kitty law first went into effect the biologist watching the eastern sierra big horn found that cats were bothering his sheep. He twisted some tails in DC and suddenly he could eliminate the pests. DFG hired a guy with dogs to git her done.

Agreed, they should let the cat go. After all it did not eat anybody. Kinda dumb anywhere sleeping under the stars in lion or bear country.
