Double Haul in the Fall

Well, I sent in my registration today.  I'm joining three old college buddies for a little float tubing tournament on Lake Crowley.  They went last year and had a blast. WON said there were 396 anglers entered last year.  Must of looked like a bowl of Cheerios.  Anyone else signed up?  I don't think I've cast a fly in three seasons.

No luck for me.  Did catch an 11 incher and a 17.25 but they have to be 18" to qualify.  The wind picked up around 11am & they called the tourney at 12:30 due to high winds.  Should find out who won in today's Western Outdoors.  My three buddies got skunked.  Saw very few caught.  The picture is of Leighton Springs/Alligator Point at 6:30am.  By 7am there were easily 120+ float tubes in the area.  This was a very nice tourney - I'm sure I'll be back.
