I have had a Kodak Easy Share 5.0 for the family camera over the past year. Recently we lost the sd card for it (a kodak 128). I bought a kodak 256 card to replace it. Well I found the old card about 3 min. after opening the new card. ? is, will the old card work on a different camera? I really don't need the 256 card on my little throw away camera. I would rather use the larger card for family pics and the smaller card for personal/work use. What do yall think. (yes I dis say yall)

"Throw away camera"??? I know the SD card will work with many different cameras but I don't know what you mean by "throw away camera". I've never heard of a throw away digital camera.

The cam is a little $40 job from walmart. I call it my throw away cause if it gets damaged or lost it wouldn't be a huge loss for me.
Back to the card question-can a card be used in two different cameras? I wasn't sure that after a card is formatted that it can be re-formatted for another cam.
