I just ordered the new Eastman Hunting Trophy Antelope book. Has anyone read it yet?

Maybe I should have asked this before I ordered it. :smiley_doh: But I liked his other books.....

I picked it up at the ISE show and skimmed it. Spent most of my time on the field judging chapter, and the bowhunting and phases of the rut.

It is another tool in the arsenal. Really if you learn 1 new thing from any book, it is worth it.

I just got the book. Its a very good book if you are just starting after Antelopes. I got the book to learn how to judge them a little better and to see if it gave any "special" areas. The judging part was worth it but the magazine talks about areas and units better than the book did. Everything was very general. Overall I think it was a good book. If you have spent years hunting antelope, you probably wont learn anything. If you have gone out a couple times (like me) its worth the $29
