If anyone has reservations about taking your kids, give it a try. You learn so much more about them out in "God's Country." The hunt was not cheap but the memories are priceless. Good luck to everyone holding a tag this year and please stay safe!
I saw that same buck in WY this year. Everytime I went to bed it was there. And it kept laughing at me and I couldn't find my gun. I’m glad someone got it. Congrats
We named my buck "Drifter" and I quess he drifted a long way from WY to NM
He got the name as we chased him for a while on consecutive days and he would always show up in the same area with his ladies.
My daughter's buck was named "Crip" due to him catching his leg in a fence and we thought for sure he would be cripple. But he freed himself and all was well until a few days later when my daughter got him in her sights.
