The return of salmon fishing in California is triggering a rebound in business activity around what is arguably California's most important game fish.
Tackle maker Bob Aydelott assembles a salmon fishing spinner. He hopes for a strong jump in his California business this year with the return of salmon fishing.

Bob Aydelott, who pays 30 to 35 people to make salmon lures on a piecework basis, says his business survived the past four years by focusing on Washington and Alaska.
