CARSON RIVER (East, West)--Both forks of the river producing some nice rainbows from 3 to over 5 pounds. Flows are high, but flatter stretches are fishable. Most everything has been getting fish--small spinners, nightcrawlers, Power Bait and salmon eggs. Weather has been variable, to say the least, and anglers should expect anything from bright, sunny, calm conditions to cold, wind and even the possibility of some light snow.
