I have a horizontal gun chest for sale in Davis, Right outside Sacramento.
It is steel, but has no fire proofing. it sits horizontal, so it is great with cased rifles, good for camera equipment, anything else. I had 10+ long guns in there no sweat, it all depends on how much you want to stack them etc...
It comes with an oak enclosure, and upholstered cushions that fit perfectly on top, meaning it can become a window seat, or something similar. It has 2 heavy duty medeco locks, and holes in the bottom to bolt it to the floor.
see the pictures below for a general idea of what it is. You would need to come pick it up of course, I think 2 strapping guys with a full size pick up , and a dolly could load it up. $500 OBO. interesting trades will be entertained.
