I would like to talk with former clients of Steve Gore's antelope camp. We are considering an archery antelope hunt for August, 2004. Steve operates the Cascade Archery business in Washington and guides antelope and deer hunters in Wyoming.

Is his hunts on that ranch unguided "drop camp"? That is the way I understood. If it is it is quite pricey for my pocketbook.

The ranch is 140 square miles. You are given three blinds, either windmill or ground. You can sit any of the three in any order you wish. He supplies the camp, cold storage, game processing area, etc. Each hunter is responsible for his own food. The operation will be starting its 23rd. year. Most of the return hunters are coming for the nice mule deer that are taken on the ranch. Steve is the proprietor or Cascade Archery in Washington.
I have only heard of the Smith Ranch through some other hunters. A reference list is not provided in the brochure.
Thanks for checking.
