has anyone hunted the Ventura county muzzleloader hunt M7?

Hello fellow hunters, i was wondering if anyone has hunted the M7 Ventura County muzzleloader hunt before and am looking to pick your brains on where to start scouting and gather any info you are kind enough to share.I moved to ventura county about 8 years ago ( wife from here originally) from new mexico and have not hunted since i moved here.now that 2 of the 3 kids are grown up i have a little more me time so i want to start muzzle loader hunting again. I figured staying in my county would offer me more weekends to be out scouting.So any information or ideas on areas or starting points would most certainly help and be appreciated. Thanks in advance...
