I am new to this forum. A couple of you know who I am. We all like photos, so I thought I would share my hunts with you. I recently posted some Catahoula pups for sale. For those of you that got a pup from me, here are the parents at work. I hope you enjoy the photos, I have tons to share, and new photos on a regular basis.

Thanks Bigworm

Why it would be illegal to use a knife here in Californi. LOL

seems odd that you cant use a knife in cali. It's acually a lot safer for everyone and just as fast a death for the hog as a gun.

It is very odd. The way I understand it is, I can shoot it and if it is not dead, I can finish with a knife. The dogs can kill the pig too. But the initial method of take can not be the knife.

Speaking of the vests. Why do only some dogs have vests and not the others? Just curious.

The dogs in the first group of pictures from a time when we only used vests on the catch dogs as they have a higher probability of getting cut. We no longer use catch dogs but run vests on all the dogs to protect them a little better. By the way the yellow dog in the second group of photos is for sale if anybody is interested.

The vests really help, especially when you catch hogs like this with just two dogs.

From time to time we get on a roll. We killed 5 hogs with over three inches of teeth out 6 hogs caught, in 5 hunts.
