This topic should quite possibly be in the Meat Care section but I thought that I'd get a better response here since we are talking about hog meat.

As usual I am counting my chickens before they hatch but as it is I will be bringing home a couple of piggies on the 3rd of April that will need processing. Anyone have any ideas of a local GOOD butcher. (Redlands, San Bernardino Area)

Thanks for the help!!!

Can't help you with the SoCal info. I use a great place in San Jose but I'm guessing that would be a bit of a drive for ya

If you can't find a good one, just leave the meat with me when you head home and I'll have it processed and eat it for you

Give Cliff's Meats a call in Hemet. I've had him do several deer, elk and hogs. He does good work. Sorry but I dont have his number handy. Good luck.

I take all my hogs to Brees in Garden Grove. He makes a sausage link that will KNOCK your socks off. He has over 20 different spice mixes to choose from and they are DAMN GOOD. Other than that he cuts just the same as any other wild game butcher...

theres a wild game butcher in Norco. He did my deer this year.

He was very reasonable and fast. Took about 3-5 days.

Total cost with sausage was about $100.

He's in the phone-book.

Try checking with Franks Meats on Waterman in San Berdo I know he won't process out of state meat but my son took a sow there he shot at Big Horn Canyon Ranch.
