Been to this ranch 2 times with hntboar...1st time his son's friend shot a nice hog, this time got to the ranch around 6:45am, start walking a little after 7:00am - by 8:00am had this hog down. Thanks to the rancher and otrhers who helped make this a great success. Estmiated the hog on the hoof weighed about 250lbs...meat on the hook was 117klbs...this was shot a little over two weeks ago. Just got the meat back from the butcher:

1. Bavarian cheese with jalapeno
2. Provolone cheese with jalapeno
3. mild italian
4. smoked hams

Thanks guys! I also purchased these I-KAM sunglasses so I could video the hunt. First time I used them was on this hunt. The camera is right in between the lenses at the bridge of the nose. Unfortunately when I put the gun up the scope got in teh way, plus there was no zoom to really catch the 50-75yd shot. I also didn't remember to keep looking down so you can't see much action or the hog too much. But they did produce a very decent video as far as clarity, etc. You can see the videos on YouTube (my handle there is randyb40s)

Ive seen those. They work very well for Duck Hunting. I have a Flip Video HD recorder works well but mostly hand held. But I looking into the GO PRO video recorders. They are very small have TONS of different mounting units to explore. The quality is AMAZING!!!!!!

Sweet Video...Great Hog! He should eat nicely. I saw the glasses at the Reno Elk Show. They look pretty cool.

Picture perfect

I don't know there SoJo. That hog is so picture perfect, are you sure that isn't a stuffed hog? If you'd wiped that bit of blood off the side, I'd have sworn it was stuffed. It looks like it is still alive. Gorgeous animal.

I'd be afraid of using those recording eye glasses - then how could I lie about the shots I missed or the size of the animal I downed?

Easy, you delete the video :D.

In regards to recording options, I would go with a Go Pro also. I have a Go Pro HD motorsports edition that I use for automotive racing. There's so many mounting options for them that you can't go wrong.
