Huge AZ pronghorn taken

  A hunter with an AZ Governor's Tag in his pocket bagged a huge pronghorn buck on the AZ Strip this past week. According to a source on hand, the buck's "gross" is 95 2/8 with both horns over 18" and a mass measurement above the prong of 5"! That's a heavy goat for sure. This was the hunter's second monster antelope in as many years with both goats in the 90's...good job!

I cant wait to see the animal.  Wish I could afford the governors tag.  I bet alot of guys will trash talk the "Rich people", but dont forget that the money from the auctioned tag goes to enhancement of our wildlife.  We should thank the guys who buy the governors tag.........

All I'm going to say is that AzBuckSnort's comment is not a rumor, but the buck is not over 18 inches.  The rest is pretty much true.  I just can't figure out how this got out as quickly as it did.  It wasn't supposed to go anywhere until after 60 days and an official score was taken.  I guess when something this big is taken the word gets out.
