Yeah, I couldn't believe some of the negative feedback this kid is getting. Some pretty harsh things for an 11 year old to hear.

That's HUGE -- even if it's found to have a high domestic bloodline.

I'm pretty sure it's already been verified as true, it's just some tricky camera work to make it look so big...

Guy is 6'1
Pig is 10'7 from snout TO HOOF.

4 foot 6 inch difference.
Snout to BUTT is probably ony 8' given a 2.5 foot leg.

In the pic the hog is more than DOUBLE the mans size... that would put him at about 13 foot long.

I'm amazed that 11 year old was able to shoot that S&W without falling on his behind!

The .500 S&W has a ported barrel and that helps a lot in minimizing muzzle jump and recoil. My friend has a .500 S&W and he targets shoot a lot with the revolver and according to him the recoil and muzzle jump is not bad at all. 'Nuff said.

Big pig, even if it was tied to a tree behind their house and fed scraps to get that big, it's still damn big.

What were the negative comments about for three hours, I didn't get that.

I put five rounds through one, and of all the guns I've ever fired, that's one I will probably never shoot again.

Muzzle jump with the ported barrel isn't that bad, but the sheer concussion of the round going off was enough to make me lose my target altogether. Heck, it was enough to make me lose the whole bloody range.

Those neg comments are from anti hunters. We used to get the same nonsense when we had a guestbook here.

Let's put together a petting zoo for anti hunters filled with Wild Pigs, Mt Lions, Deer, all other game. So they can pet the cute fuzzy harmless and defense less animals.

It's sad when people put more value on a wild animal than a human being.

Wonder if that pigs wife is going to file a missing persons report with the Local Law enforcement, since they have families and all.

Lame.

the kid won the pork chop for life lottery!

i have always wondered about these hogzilla stories how these monster hogs get so huge in the 1000 lb. range in the wild without getting noticed till their that big, just a thought, or are they all farm raised?.......................tra

They have to be farm rasied, if it was possible for a wild hog to hit the 1000 pound mark, 5 and 600 pound hogs would be everywhere, or atleast very common. Can you imagine 7, 8, and 9 hundred pound hogs crossing cattle fences, let alone 1000 pounders, when 300 pounders mess up barb wire fences?

On the other hand how cool would it be to see that huge beast as a full body mount.
