Where is the nearest Javelina hunting to Palm Springs? Is there anything to hunt in Palm Springs area?

The closest javelina to Palm Desert are at the Living Desert Museum. Lots of cool big horn sheep too. It's a must see. If you bring your bow, make sure you have a shady lawyer on retainer.

The closest decent population to Palm Desert, would probably be unit 39 in Arizona. All spring Javelina seasons are now over. Next open season will be in Sept. 07.

Coues, approx how far is it from there? Are they OTC tags and when does the season end? Thanks Bro!!

They are not over the counter. You must draw a tag, which is very easy. Season is usually 10 days for archery. 4-6 days for gun/Ml'er.

Apps and regs will be out next month.

A rough estimate would be 4-5 hour drive from Palm Springs. There are better areas if you willing to add another hour of drive time.
