hey speck, i will miss this event agian this year due to me being in iraq, but do you plan on having it around the same time frame next year, ill be done with my second year and ill be home all of may and june before i come back for a partial 3rd year. you all have fun i cant wait for next year.

well i dont want no special treatment, thats just how i am, but being over here, i live through you all on here for my hunting fix, ive tried putting in for a camel tag but they wont give me one. ill be home in about 7 weeks for about a month, and i am gonna try to get in some yotes and hogs while in town if my schedule permits. but ill be on here looking to see how all of you do

Hey LX,

Bummer you can't make it, but as long as there's interest at JHO, I'll try to keep this annual hunt going.

I try to hit that same time frame every year (May to early-June). There's no hunt during April (turkey season) and I have vowed to never do another one during the rainy season (Feb/Mar). So it sounds like the timing will be perfect.

I noticed in the app there was not any directions to the Tejon Camp Ground for the hunt.

Should I just call Tejon Ranch for the info?

Dunno if he's talked to Barbara, but I'll be on the ranch every weekend starting Feb 10th. I'll be posting enough game cam pics to keep ya'll interested.

Stay tuned, and all will be made clear.

Several of us usually hit the Flying J for breakfast on Friday morning before the hunt. After that, we'll head over meet at the Tejon headquarters, right off of I-5 at Lebec for orientation prior to getting onto the ranch. This usually happens around 0900-1000 on Friday morning. Afterward, we head over to the gate and roll in as a group. If all goes well, most of us are in camp by noon, and several are out hunting/scouting by 1300.

To anybody who thinks they won't be able to meet prior to 1100 on Friday morning...

You have the better part of four months to figure out an excuse at for your boss or warden. Work it out.
