I'm there...

I'm ready for the BS too. I'll be spending lots of time around the campfire since I'll be tagging out Friday afternoon at my new secret spot.

before the week fills up with useless activities! I need my pal to write a check, or he'll never commit. If I can't get him to come, I'll look to truck pool from the East Bay. First choice is to fetch a ride with you - I will shower before the weekend, but you know the drive home will be brutal ...

George,

Would love the company, but I'm currently planning to stay down in the LA area for the week after the hunt, since I have the JHO Archery hunt the very next weekend and nothing better to do in between.

Looks like we'll have a handful of Bay Area hunters down there, though... I'm betting someone has an extra seat and a can of Oust for the drive home.

Speck,

Thanks for the input. I am hoping my pal will make it. If not, I'll search for a ride. I can actually offer a ride and drive my truck. It's just painful to drive that far by yourself. It's boring and hard on the wallet.

Cheers,

George

Where are you heading down from, George? I've been planning on driving my Silverado 4x4 Crew Cab (i.e. lots of internal space) solo from San Ramon. There'd be plenty of room in the back for a second pig.

The only downside would be that I might make you listen to Canadian music.

Well come on out, Bryan! It's not that far.

OneTrack, I need to organize the paperwork... I think we're only at about 12 or 14, but I've just been dropping the envelopes into a file folder lately, and haven't been reviewing the actual apps. Will probably tend to some of that tomorrow.

That is the perfect Tejon vehicle. Nice! Will you be towing that behind a monster A Class motorhome?

Ummm....

No.

It'll be towed behind the Tactical Vehicle, which will become base camp.

Damn. I was hoping to provide the beverages in exchange for a queen size bunk. Maybe next year. Dude, you won't even have to get out of that thing. You can just drive the roads with all the old timer motorhome guys.

Congrats Speck.

I remember that a Sami was in your wish list since more than a year ago.

Maybe you'll get one this year with this tactical advantage (LOL).

Beasty, thanks... it sure won't hurt my opportunities not to have that rattling diesel behemoth on those hillsides.

Well, I'm out. I'm heading to Spokane with my dad that week to see some friends and maybe do some salmon fishing. I'm moving to Colorado this summer so last year may have been my one and only time to get up there. Sure was a beautiful place. Dennis

Well, that's a bummer, Stryder...but it sounds like a good enough reason to bail. Enjoy your time with your pops...you only get so much of it.

Tejon will still be there next year, even if we will be shooting unleaded ammo. And they welcome out of state hunters just as readily as locals... so bear up and stick around.
