Call the dfg
TRA,
You're a screw ball and it's obvious everyone knows this but you.
Here's a proposal...
Lake Sonoma Wildlife Area becomes open to registered archery hunters for an addition fee of $100. per season. This should cover all the funds that FOLS are pursuing for their organization on an annual basis. This will give hard working tax paying hunters an opportunity to hunt THEIR public land in an area that is so overly infested by hogs and more than likely the largest contributor of feral hogs migrating to the remainder of Lake Sonoma recreation areas.
Jayson and his dog can police the area to make sure everyone hunting the area has their additional stamp.
In addition... The DFG issues 10 more A25 tags giving those who draw an opportunity to take a Blacktail deer with bow and arrow and manage overpopulation in this area as well.
This is public land and should be available to the public. Not just those who can afford dropping $$$$ to hunt.
BTY I've taken well over 30 hogs by bow at LS the last 15 or so years hunting there.Truth is I lost count.
I would disagree with the 10 more tags. There are some awesome bucks in there right now and more tags means less bucks have a chance to make it to be that big. Wait to get your points and you will draw a tag.
The way I see it with the auction tag you are basically bidding on a trespass fee and Jayson is tagging along to help. If you want to go solo im sure it wouldn't be a huge issue. You aren't going to pay Jayson, so is he really a guide? I think you are blowing this way out of proportion and being a little immature on the whole issue.

I thought bowhunting hog at Lake Sonoma has only been opened to the public for 9 years. Before that it was rifle hunt by drawing.
500 you must have toed the short bus to school he doesn't guide for 1500 a day for deer it was 500 for day one 50 per day if u stayed for sat and Sunday so an extra 100 for the weekend I believe so your information is way off base get ur facts straight before u begin bashing people on A public forum jayson has done more for that lake and hunter access than you would in a million years go fly a kite!
You would fit right into the screw ball category as well.
We're talking about bow hunting and the percentage of success ratio = to the # of wildlife that needs to be managed Jackhole.
It doesn't take a biologist to figure out this specific area of LS needs deer management.
A25 tags are an archery only either sex hunt. One of the few opportunities a bow hunter actually has a decent chance to harvest a deer in CA with out dealing with the ridiculous seasonal elements factored in the general archery season.
The LS Wildlife area is a huge part of the landscape surrounding the lake needing the most management.
10 additional tags would be sufficient for hunting with bow + the fact that not to many would brave the landscape.
As for the hog hunting... Don't get me started why I even need a tag to hunt them or pay the govt. and a nonprofit to hunt them on public land.
Dirtbag?Guide?
I dont see where it says in any of his posts where he has exclusive rights to hunt pigs. It does say he has permission to take hunters who get the auction tags in the wildlife area. Which im sure was the condition of getting those tags to go to auction was to have someone with the hunters to make sure they stay on public land.
500 since you are a biologist studying deer numbers maybe you can tell me how many deer should be taken at ls each year and sustain big bucks? If you cant wait 5 years to draw a premium tag you have issues.
How about they add 10 more big horn tags to each area too while we are at it. Our kids don't need to have game around to hunt....

Your the type of guy that comes on here and bitches but wouldn't say a word to jaysons face
Currently 25 tags for approximately 3000 acres.
10 more tags for an additional 5000 acres.
I'm sorry I wasn't asking for enough tags.
Bowhunting % of success to the amount of tags son.
