Mel and I were discussing this. If my mom can watch my kids on Wednesday, then Mel and I will be there on Thursday. We will probably be going out of Yorty Creek, or possibly even Rockpile road, not sure yet.

Backcountry,
Mel said if your interested to let him know, or anyone else for that matter.

We don't have a boat
<
so we'll be on foot. We'll take some good pics for you guys.

Well, we went to lake Sonoma wed..Looks like most the pigs are staying on the private land and coming into the park durring the night. We seen 13 pigs wed. but none were in the park. The sign looks good and fresh, lots of wallows, but I think they are nightime wallows not daytime wallows.
<
I think since they opend it up everyday there are more people there and the pigs move to a safe place. I am going back this wed. I think I have a few ideas
<
and hope one pays off. good luck to all and all a good night. BUCK

After going there once this year and learning the area just a tad and then researching what everyone else has talked about I would think these pig are to be had directly up top of that left ridgeline along park boundary first thing in morn and then they get their sun on the private?..or do I have my directions turned around actually?
<
Yea, that should be a North facing slope, hu? Whatever the case, one might consider the boat.

Hi Dan: I guess you are like us, sitting around playing on the computer.
No we don't have your work schedule but you can email it to Mel to Hunt4life address, not his work address.
After next week the only days that we can go is Saturdays.

Dan you should register your wife on Jesses as Mel did with me this way you won't get on trouble for being on Jesses too much. At least when Mel is on Jesses I am sitting next to him waiting for my turn to log in

LOL!! My wife is in currently in bed waiting for me to scrath her back- and you know what back scratches lead to? I am too old and decrepid for someone comming into/reaching their prime.

God designed men and women different for that- and that was before JHO.
<

Mel- Get a ring for that huntress- or are you you already mounted on the wall?
<

Cheers :beer tosast:

I'm still undecided... but after putting a new string on my bow before Xmas I haven't been able to get out and check my tune with broadheads... the weather is kind of crappy this week for me to make it to my local broadhead pit, so I'm thinking I'm gonna miss Thursday.

Good luck to you though and hope you get a big 'un!

Having to cancel my Thursday trip. This incoming storm looks a little too rough for me. I'll post up for the next date I can go. Wish I had today off. Looks like it would have been a great day to get out.

Nah, I'm headed out to AZ for Javelina and deer. Five days in S/E Arizona. I was just wondering what you guys used to get around up there.
