Looking for a Northern California Lease

Well yall just figuired i would ask. Does anybody know how to get a lease out here in California. Im originally from Alabama and my family has had the same 400 acre lease for a long time. But since I've been stationed out here in California, everytime i say "hunting lease" i dont get any kind of response. So can yall tell me what i need to do. Im only looking for about 100 acres nothing all that big. Well thank yall for yall's time.
