Looking for a place to Shoot...

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a club or place to shoot in this general area. I'd like to find a club or someplace to just get out and shoot a few rounds of trap.

If you talkin about Cali shooting then... For sporting Clays I go to Moore n' Moore off of the 210fwy and Osborne. They have a five stand also. Here is a link http://www.moorenmoore.com/yes_flash.php

I believe there is a place up the 5fwy but I can't think of the name right now...ok, I had to do a search but, I found it. Here is the link

It's called the Oak Tree Gun Club. I've never been there but a friend said it is nice.

Now, if you looking to shoot a bow (not that you said you were) there is the Malibu Mountain Archery Club. Just north of Pepperdine University, up PCH. Nice club.

Do you shoot a lot of trap? What about Sporting clays?

I dont do a lot of trap or clays. I am really just trying to find a place where I can get comfortable shooting a new gun. I shoot my 12 and 28 ga well but my 20 is a mystery for me.

I do shoot bows and now that you mentioned it I should probably try to start shooting. I have a big elk hunt lined up for next sept in NM. And we are applying for NV deer tags.

Hey D3Smartie, have you checked out the Agoura Shootin range? There right off Kanan next to Woodranch BBQ. No trap ,but you can shoot up to 50 BMG indoors! Looks loke we live in the same neck of the woods. Let me know if you ever need a shootin or huntin buddy.

reddog - I have seen the place when I have gone to wood ranch but never been in there.
I dont get out to hunt much down here in CA because of my lack of knowledge of the areas and the long drives to most places but vrstull was nice enough to take me out last year.
Maybe we can get out after some birds this season. let me know if you ever have room for an extra or want to go explore some hills.
