Hi I just found this forum a guy on the NWTF board put me onto this one.
My father used to live in Wyoming and hunted antelope there in the 1950's. He is 81 years young and wants to go back and do it one more time while he's still able. We have tryed to draw several times north of rock springs so we could hunt the same public area he hunted back then with no luck. We are looking for an area that has a good chance to draw a tag and are willing to pay trespass fees or maybe selfhunt with an outfitter if reasonable cost. He would like to hunt mulies also. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I've hunted antelope with my dad over in the Kemmerer area, I think the area is 93...I think. Anyway, Over the past 5 years, my dad has been drawn every year except once. There are nice bucks in the area and the terrain isn't that bad. I'm not sure how the deer hunting is around there, but there sure are a lot of antelope out there. The town is interesting too with fossil museums and the first J.C. Penny store is there along with J.C. Penny's house to take a tour of. We tend to get our antelope on the first or second day tops. Anyway, good luck.

There are a few guys here from Wyoming that can help you out with the info on antelope hunting. Just be patient.

If you'd ever consider New Mexico, please check out www.newmexicobiggamehunting.com. I have good antelope and mulie hunts available. However, I have no mechanism for a combo style.....Jim
