If lucky on my SD Archery hunt, I was thinking about a European mount....Anyone do this?

funny you say that I bet it would look cool if it could be done ...see the sheath slides off and they would have to bondo some how but a bleached skull w/jet black horns would be way cool !
I WILL HAVE TO ASK ALSO.

I have one too. I cut the bottom of the skull off and it sits flat on a table. It's cool because the horns go straight up off the flat skull, rather than straight out from the wall. I'll try and post a pic too. Ed F

IKE,

That is what I did with my Lope fron NV last year. It does look cool.
Are you going to do it your self?

I will try and remember to take some pics tonight.

Not sure Huntn! I have my CA Lope from 90 mounted and that's a hard one to beat. We have a guy up here that does them pretty reasonably, so may go that route....Do think it would look good though and Coues that's a good one!!!

IKE,

It is not hard to do, just one smelly adventure! I was not warned about the smell,
it was real easy to do!

Here is the one i did last year...my first. I was going to use bondo, as i was told was what most people do, but i had an old tube of caulk that i didnt need anymore so i used that when i put the horns back on...it worked well though. That was the only picture i had, i tried to get just the european mount in a picture and closer but im not computer savvy enough. They are pretty easy to do....good luck!
