My 2025 Trophy Pond Monster Lunker Bass Hook Up’s and Other Decent Size Ones!…pics

Heres a decent Frog Slammer I hooked last week. ..








Then last week after that I went on the course to hit up the bridge pond and I got a Monster Blow on the Frog right at the bank edge and when I set the hooks hard my Reel Snapped off and tried to hand line it but hooks came out and lost it had to b around 9 lbs. I was heart broken, tomorrow i am going back to that spot and see if I van get lucky for another opportunity to hook that pond Monster.




Then yesterday I went off the property to do some urban fishing and hooked this ok one on a Swim-bait....tra

Those are monsters. Keep pulling in those lunkers. I bet there’s nobody in Florida getting more action than you, fish that is!

Well I got out early this morning to hit some ponds on the course and the first pond was the bridge pond where I lost a huge one last week that snapped my reel on.
It was 8 am The weather was perfect very light breeze and sun rising behind me the water was like glass, I went to a corner pocket of the pond to start casting. Very first cast with the Booyah Frog and I get a major blow up on it and set the hooks hard and started reeling in a lunker and had to drag it through 15 ft of vegetation to the bank but my pole set up makes it possible and got it on the bank in hand. What a way to start the day off with a Trophy Frog Slammer Pond Monster Bass on the first cast of the day couldn't be happier with excitement. Took some quick pics and released it back in to live and fight another day, Booyah Baby!
My frog pole set up is a medium heavy 6'7" with 50 Lb. Braid and high end Abu Garcia reel.
Its not the one I lost last week but no complaints it was definitely a contender.

Yesterday morning I got to hit up a few ponds very first pond after a few cast of the Booyah Frog I got a major blow up frog Slammer and landed this nice lunker on the bank great way to start out the morning, released it back in. I usually like to retrieve the frog working it twitching it do some pauses but sometimes I will cast out the frog and let it sit for a minute and bass will just suck it up that way too so I cated it back out and let it sit this time and saw it just dissapear under water went to set the hooks but it got spat out, after a couple more cast I got the hard hit set the hooks and landed a decent size one so back to back frog hook ups that was cool fun action!
Then I went on the course to the bridge pond was working my frog as I stood on top of the bridge and this very healthy 10 ft. Man eater gator popped out from under the bridge trying to get my frog and even came up on the bank hissing at me being all territorial, Took some pics and it was time to move on!
The gators were active because at another pond I had a 4 footer and 8 footer on each side of the bank I was standing on 80 ft from each other. And the first pond I hooked the lunker at had a little 3 footer. Time for some gator boots and a wallet....lol Enjoy the pics!...tra
