My Antelope mount

This was my first Antelope, I hope to get back there for a better buck, but since he was my first I had him mounted.

Nice mount Mel. Definitely can't have to many of them hanging on the wall. It's gonna look good next to the Muley. I have my first on the wall now. My second is still at the taxidermist. I am stretching it when I call him a taxidermist to. I took it to him two and a half years ago and it's still not done. I tried to save a few bucks, so I guess I'm getting what I pay for. My goat from last year is close to being done. They just called me last week and wanted to know what kind of pose I wanted and said it should be ready by March or April. I'm having it face straight and put it in the middle, the one from two years ago facing left and on the left side and this one which is facing right on the right side. Plus the middle one will be my biggest one.

IMO -- an antelope makes the prettiest mount !! You all have nice looking bucks. CB

I have two Antelope mounted, but the other is small, only about 10 1/2". Just had it mounted to add with the other one, I didn't know when I would be able to get back to wyoming for another. I' hopeing to go next year, and will be holding out for a 14 incher or better to go in the middle of the two.
