Only if you are trying to build on your property that you intend to hunt on. Here in Sonoma County we have the tiger salamander which seriously hampers any type of development. You have to get environmental impact reports just to pitch a tent. The science is foggy and it is used to stop development left and right. Personally, I have never seen a tiger salamander, and I don't think they matter much to the food chain. Seems the entire county is critical habitat though. I think this frog is just another excuse to stop the evil humans from prospering. We're so selfish that way.(tongue in cheek)

Fugaloo, down here we had some closures in the NF over the Arroyo toad. You couldn't hunt or even walk in the areas that were big chunks of land. Just wondering if you're going to have the same thing up there over this frog.

The revisions have to pas first, and be approved. There is a chance that it may go to a ballot measure, but not likely. Voters will most likely not have an opportunity to decide whether or not revisions like this will take effect, but if our governor has anything to say about it, the outcome will error on the side of the big money developers.

So, if these revisions pass, then most likely hunting and access will be affected.
