Yep, gotta agree BPN, lead weights for fishing are also probably gonna be on the way out. I fish a lot, and I do lose lead sinkers. I mean lead itself is just on the way out as far as using it in ways that it can not be picked up and properly recycled, just like batteries of all types now. But there are plenty of brass weights available already, because they can be used with plastic beads to make a great rattling sound to attract fish. But just like Barnes bullets, they are WAY more expensive than lead. Back in the day, I used to use old sparkplugs (ceramic/steel) for sinkers in rivers, canals, and any other water where it was expected to get a lot of hang-ups and lose terminal tackle. May have to back to that I guess, but problem is I don't know what they make the new ones from and the new ones last almost forever (don't need to change them every few thousand miles), so even they are now a bit scarce. I'm gonna see if I can come up with a scheme to make fishing sinkers out of gravel, then after that I'll see if I can find a way to make bullets out of gravel too!! Condors don't eat gravel like dove do, do they!!
