Our favorite spot to hunt, Sawmill Rd is closed down for another year because of the fire earlier this year.
I know that there are areas of Angeles National Forest near where I live in Acton, off of Angeles Crest Highway.
Are there any areas up there that are good for hunting quail and other upland birds? We are trying to find a location to hunt this Saturday.
I'm also open to suggestions on other spots. Frenchman Flats off of Templin highway has been a bust lately, so I'd like to avoid that location.
