I always struggle with you giant guys in photo's. So many of you big guys make trophies seem too small!
I like kids and ladies, they are easy to hide behind game and everything seems bigger then life. I'm not one for tricks, and putting people 4 feet behind the game, but I do take pride in photo set-up to make the most of the moment. As you pointed out there is a period of "brain dead" right after the game is shot. The hunter is not thinking clear so somebody should try and think about the pictures that the hunter will have months and years down the road.
For that reason I probably take twice as much time as anyone I know to make the photos what they should be, life long memories. I have several places to hunt in the same area you were in. But then I hunt across South Africa as well, not just in the Limpopo. We hunt the Drakensburg frequently for Black Wildebeest, and the Natal Province for nyala as an example.
