I'll trade ya two pigs and a turkey (we've got plenty) for an elk...sounds fair to me.
<
We need to keep the deer to ourselves, both of 'em.

Here's the one that earned me the nickname "A$$Shooter", when ya shoot at a pig running at 17yrds, ya gotta lead'em a bit.

Arrowslinger-

I've already complimented you on that hog. But it is worth mentioning again. That dude is a stud. I don't know if it is the angle of the camera, or what. But that body is huge, looks like a freakin moo cow in the back of the truck. Excellent tuskers as well.

One shot of crown to you boy !!!

I guess since Jody (Oregoncritters) isn't on to help me out. I'll post this buck that he whacked last year in Nevada. Check out the drop tine on this dude.

Not sure how wide he is. He makes book, even though he is short tined. I don't know how the drop tine affects the score. But he is a really wide buck. I would guess 27 - 29".

If he would sign on, he could tell us.

Arrowslinger -

I just made the connection to A$$Shooter. I didn't realize that was you. Its hard to keep all the JHOers straight.

But i remember that photo that started it all. I believe i posted that on Choppers site a year or so ago.

I guess i will have to show you a little more respect for shooting a pig on the run, those are pretty fast critters.

Bubba sure looks intimidating in that picture.....but i assure you, the dude can cook!!
<
That is one nice 'bou......where you able to save the velvet on the mount or is it hardhorned? Damn these OR guys are good, shootin' damn near every critter under the sun. I gotta start hittin' the range.
<

But yeah, it's a little tricky to shoot a pig when it's runnin'...little did i know that pig was runnin' cause a 210lb boar w/ plenty of tooth exposed was right behind it....bumped it while i was blood trailin'.

I wasn't able to save the velvet. He was pretty much stripped off, when I shot him
