Oryx Hunts in New Mexico.

I am very interested in going on a hunt for Oryx. They are so beautiful and sounds like the hunt is a once in a lifetime. I was hoping for some info from guys who have done this hunt before! Price? Drawing? Season? Guided or non? Thanks!

Once in a lifetime is right. VERY long draw odds. $1600+ tag. On Fed. Gov. mil. base land. No guide needed, just luck to draw the tag.

Wait, scratch all that. There are no Oryx in the US outside of exotic ranches in Texas. NM is a farce. Go to TX, the cost is less and you can hunt anytime on a cheap $50 license. Yup, Texas is the ticket

I didnt know they were as expensive or more than sheep. It is a cool mount though.
