Ace.jpg

This buck was taken and scored around 87.0 green.

A mid-80's type buck.

Another mid-80's type buck on a private ranch that doesn't allow hunting.

This buck was taken and scored 89.6 B&C but suffered over an inch of deducts from a broken horn tip.  He would have been well over 90.

One of this bucks sheds would have scored 86.0 if doubled.

Those are some pigs.  I put in for bow this year, ups my draw chances, now if I could only sneak, shoot, etc....  I have just started bow hunting at the young age of 39, I hope I am lucky enough to draw 19A here in AZ.........

4 of 'em are 19A and the other is 17B.  19A is really on the downhill.  For those of you that haven't been up there recently there's a highway going right through the middle of the archery only side.  I also hear that they're going to trap another couple hundred either this year or next.  If anyone out there has any info on the rumored trapping feel free to post.  They still have some big antelope, but with only a few fawns surviving this year, the upcoming trapping, and human encroachment it's only a matter of time before they're all gone.

I'll get the photos up as soon as I get back...and yes...it does seem that the conditions are affecting NM.  Stangely, though, the bucks in AZ are as big as ever.
