Read my post above, you can hunt at pine flat but you have to make sure you are in the sequoia national forest, also knob as blm land, to find these contact dfg, or look online for a website that makes maps, but if you don't have a boat, don't waste your money, you won't be able to get to the land without a boat

Lefevre creek or areas closer to the dam? With the lake being so low, it'll be a good hike.

Lol wasn't asking you to give up your spot. Lefevre is big and so is the area close to the dam. Heck, that whole portion of blm is BIG. Unless you were hunting at either blue canyon or secata ridge. LOL

Didn't mean to scare you away white buffalo. LOL By the way, I know the area already and it's only accessible with a boat. LOL

Not at all, all the fresh rootings, and mud waller were dried up, no fresh prints, nothing. They moved deep in those hills, we walked to the pond, went from la ferve, headed south east, towards the old cabin, actually we were on The mountain back above it, headed west, came out zebe, and headed back to la ferve, nothing, they moved when the weather front, I'm going back Friday. I did see about 30 deer, one huge herd of 10-15, and got me some sheded horns.

Been reading your posts, you better be aware of where you are, that cabin is on private land. As for Zebe, the property above the high water mark to the paddle markers is Corps of Engineers property where only Bow or Shotgun hunting is allowed. Also, the land from the buoy line to the dam is a restricted area and no hunting is allowed, trust me, i know this area well. Oat Mountain has some Sequoia Nat Forest Area, however; Private land surronds that as well. I know the game Wardens well and they are patrolling that area with Quads and Water with boats. Stop by the Corps of Enginners Office below the Dam and get a Hunting Map of the area in conjunction with the Forest Service Maps and you will see that I am right. Just a friendly heads up before you get caught.

I know the boundaries, I got the map, now if you cross the lake it is rifle, shotgun, and bow, if you hunt sycamore its shotgun and bows only, I havent been bothered by any wardens, im not doing anything illegal, I have spoke with game warden will grove and he said its cool as long as you dont cross into any private property. But thanks for the heads up.

You are wrong, all Corps of Engineers land is Shotgun and Bow ONLY, if you are using a rifle you are in violation. The South side of the lake is Corps property as well, and after that its Private except for a few spots of Forest Service that is land locked by private. Also; Will is a good friend of mine so you better double check your maps, that cabin you spoke about is on private land as well.
