Just wanted to tell you all thanks for this awesome web site. This really got me going on pig hunting.
I live in Sonoma County near Lake Sonoma. I've been asking everyone I know for permission to access their property for pigs. Most say yes. Found this pasture approx 45-50 acres, total property 200+ acres.
They raise lambs and was told by the owner that pigs and any coyotes are fair game. Here are some pics from today's outing. It's been raining on/off for the last few days so when there was a break in the weather I went scouting. If the weather lets up this weekend I'll be out Sat. & Sun. Looks like their bedding down off the property. I did not find any new rooting but they've torn that pasture from one end to the other. I was able to find what I think is a pig turd. What you think? I broke it up looks like it was eating alot of grass.
