I'm forming a notion that pigs much prefer stagnant water (ponds..etc) to flowing stream. Now that the rains are about over and everything is drying out I've been trying to stay near water. But it seems that while I've seen many a pig track crosss a stream on ever stay along side one for awhile, they don't seem to dwell there. as opposed to wallows, ponds...etc where they do seem to dwell. I guess if that is the case, I should concentrate on the stagnant ponds instead of hiking creeks.
I would also imaging that most of the pigs have now migrated to private lands with their plentiful artificial cattle ponds.....
what do you guys think?
