I have been having 2 out but have 1 in that is a prototype for some evaluation. The other is out, and has been since Sept. for a battery life study. Plan on having 3 to 5 out by the end of the month. Will be doing early scouting and running long term battery life trials.
HAD MY DIGITAL OUT FOR 3 WEEKS, NOW IM GOING TO GIVE MY CLOVER PATCH A REST FOR A WEEK OR TWO. ILL PUT IT BACK OUT HERE PRETTY SOON, I WANT TO GET SOME FAWN AND SOME EARLY VELVET PICS. I PROBABLY WONT PUT ALL MY 35'S OUT TILL THE HORNS GET DEVELOPED.
Everything is in till the shed antler and mushroom hunters are done.
Plus don't have time to put any out with all the shed antler and mushroom hunting I'm doing....
I took one down last weekend and left the new one with the MS20 and simple timer. I am going to swap out all the 426 boards with MS20 and timers. I have 3 to replace the boards on and 4 more cams to do. I think that will keep me occupied for a while
Ten cams in the brush--11 if I count the AF that my wife borrowed to get pics of deer eating her roses. Don't know how she ended up with my only AF
Set out for bobcat-elk-deer-ducks-mink-otter and an eagle. Could write a book on the eagle, I swear that he sits on a limb and laughs at me when I check the cam. I'll try camo netting this week
None of mine are in the woods now. I am going to put them back out this weekend since turkey season ended yesterday. I always pull mine during turkey season because I have to many poachers wandering around on my property.
13 as this is about all I can keep track of. Yesterday I pulled a roll out with 19 pics and gave to wife to take to 1hr. I will be a nervous wreck until she gets home. WHY??? Once I gave her a roll to take in and when she got home said OH I forgot to pick up your pics as was in a hurry. So I went in the next day and girls acted excited and said you wont believe what you got! She dropped the film canister on counter and it rattled. I opened it and out came 2 car fuses for the old van. She forgot (lost) film and noticed film container in drink holder. I found film under seat of van next day. Pray for me as have had other similar problems concerning better half and film.
Mine are all pulled and have several out as loaners since Feb, after horns fall off, I lose interest for awhile. Am now waiting for fawns and antler growth.
VMS, once I left a film canister with only a penney rattling around in it, drove around for an hour and came back to the surprise. she said she ran out to catch me but I was already gone.
I put my 35mm out Saturday on a salt lick. Looked like a lot of activity... deer and coyote tracks. I'll go check on it Sunday. I'll plan on putting my digital out Sunday for it's first 'Week-Long' test.
I am with TinHorn...My Cams are all in for now....Will be getting them out in a few months to capture some Velvet Pictures of Deer and in a few weeks to maybe try for some Fawns.
