Boat limit for fishing?: A proposal to establish a new "boat limit" for party boats in California is on the agenda for the Fish and Game Commission's Thursday meeting. For salmon fishing, for instance, with 15 people aboard, a boat limit would allow all aboard to legally fish until 30 salmon were caught. The current statute is largely ignored and requires individuals to stop fishing, one by one, when their personal two-fish limit is caught.
