The California Department of Fish and Game wants the public to know that it is actively accepting public comments and input for a proposed management plan for the camp ground located at the Imperial Wildlife Area (IWA) Wister unit. Now is the time to voice your comments and concerns for this project. The Department will be conducting an open session “Town Hall forum” at the April 7<SUP>th</SUP>, 2009 Fish and Game Commission meeting in El Centro. <O></O>

The Department will also accept public comments in writing at or following the El Centro Fish and Game Commission meeting. The deadline to submit comments for the IWA Wister unit camp ground plan will be April 28<SUP>th</SUP>, 2009.

The Department will provide a draft campground management plan at the meeting. The campground management plan will not be finalized until after the comment period.<O></O>

The Department of Fish and Game wants to ensure safe, sanitary and pleasant experiences at the Imperial Wildlife Area camp ground in southern California. <O></O>
