Quail Hunitng in Fraizer Park

I have heard that the quial have double clutched this year and there are allot up on Fraizer Park Area. Does anybody know where to go up there. I hunt mostly on greenhorn mountain, have seen many quail but allot on private property. Have never hunted Fraizer Park but its close to Bakersfield so I would like to check it out. Thanks...

I don't know about Frazier Park since the Mt. Pinos Ranger District was closed to hunting opening week of the rifle deer season. We detoured to an area SE of the I-5 and 138. We came across a few quail there, a couple small coveys. Maybe saw fifteen to twenty birds in ten miles of hiking.
