I just modified the s40 camera as the pixcontroller directions. The soldering seemed fine and the shutter assembly cable went in quite well. The origiinal ribbon cable went back in most of the way not sure it is completely back in. How important is it that this original seat completely back in the slot?
Hooked up the board to the camera and the power to the board and the board lights up. What red and green light sequence should be occurring? If I move my hand in front of the sensor the camera never comes on. Doesn't seem like this would be normal.
I just want to make sure that the camera internals are modified correctly before mounting everything in the case.
