Hey all, I was wondering if anyone has advice for fishing a couple local waters. I used to fish Santa Ana River and San Gabriel River years ago, before kids, work and home project(selling our house). Now that I have a little time I would like to get back at it. I stopped fishing San Gabriel because of the trash and bad vibes from some pretty surly types, but thought maybe winter would be better. As far as Santa Ana River, I have never fished in the winter and was wondering about conditions (bite, water levels, snow).
Thanks in Advance

Hey k_rad, thanks for the response. The Owens Valley and most of the Sierras have been my stomping ground my whole life so I'm pretty good with them (can't wait for my first trip this year!). I was thinking of a couple places to just bust out of Orange County and get some stream fishing in for a few hours.
