sonoma turkey

my son and I drew the spring turkey hunt at lake sonoma .this is his first hunt and my first time turkey hunting.wondering if anybody has any tips? and were we might go at sonoma? thank you

There's lot of good info on technique and calling in the regular Turkey forum. Bux n Dux has a thread with a lot of useful replies on it. You're going to have do some scouting before you go if you want to find them, unless somebody has seen them while pig hunting or fishing and will give you the info. When did you get notified, I have been checking the mail like a fiend for the past week to find out if I got picked? Hopefully mine is in the mail. Good Luck.
