Was doing some thinking (scary I know).. BUT.. Copper ammo is really a small part of the ammunition market. As it sits right now if you want to go hunt in the "condor range" you have to buy lead free ammo (usually copper Barnes bullets) which aren't impossible to find but my experience is that I usually have to do some driving and checking to get what I need..
California is the most populated state in the U.S. there's a lot of people here and a lot of hunters.. If California passes its lead free ammo ban (which I expect to happen) there will be a huge demand for ammo that is already in VERY limited supply, prices will skyrocket even worse than they are now (IMO).
So my point to all this is buy a box or two now, WHILE YOU CAN, so you don't have to sit out on hunting season next year.
